酒提供再開時、人数制限も　決定１８日にずれ込み―東京都

　政府が新型コロナウイルス対策の緊急事態宣言を発令している７都道府県を「まん延防止等重点措置」に移行することを受け、各自治体は１７日、対応を検討した。東京都は、焦点である飲食店の酒類提供の再開について、客の人数や時間などに制限を設ける方向だ。同日中に都対策本部会議で決める予定だったが、国との調整が付かず１８日に延期した。大阪府も同日、決定する。
　都は重点措置への移行後、感染リスクが高いとされる酒類提供に関し(1)少人数の客(2)時間帯や客の滞在時間(3)都職員によるコロナ対策点検―といった条件を付けることを検討。感染が再び広がれば酒類提供の停止も求める構えだ。関係者によると、酒類提供に関する国の通知が遅れたため、１７日中の決定を見送ったという。
　小池百合子知事は記者団に「きょう（１７日）にも都の措置を決めたかったが、国の方針の詳細がまだ不明で、あすに繰り延べた」と釈明。都内の新規感染者数が下げ止まりつつある中、酒類提供の再開に慎重な都側と、前向きな政府側とのすり合わせが間に合わなかったとみられる。（2021/06/17-22:01）

The Tokyo metropolitan government is considering setting restrictions on the serving of alcoholic drinks at eateries after the ongoing novel coronavirus state of emergency is replaced with pre-emergency status for the Japanese capital, it was learned Thursday.
   Measures being studied by the Tokyo government include a limit on the number of customers and the amount of time when alcoholic beverages are served, informed sources said. Under the ongoing emergency, bars and restaurants in Tokyo have been asked to refrain from offering alcohol.
   The Japanese government on Thursday decided to end the coronavirus state of emergency for nine of the 10 prefectures under the measure, including Tokyo, on Sunday as planned and put seven of them in a pre-emergency stage from Monday.
   New infection cases in Tokyo had been on a declining trend since the end of the Golden Week holiday period in early May, but are recently ceasing to fall. Experts have warned of a rebound in new cases ahead of the July 23 start of the Tokyo Olympics.
   While accepting the central government's decision on the shift to a pre-emergency stage, the Tokyo government sees a need to set restrictions on the serving of alcoholic drinks at eating and drinking establishments, which involves high infection risks, the sources said.
