６４歳以下も接種開始　東京会場は予約埋まる―新型コロナワクチン・自衛隊

　自衛隊が東京と大阪で運営する新型コロナウイルスワクチンの大規模接種センターで１７日、６５歳以上の高齢者に加え、１８～６４歳も対象にした接種が始まった。１回目の接種で、自治体発行の接種券を持つことが条件。
　防衛省によると、２０日までの予約は既に埋まった。２１～２７日分も東京は全て埋まり、大阪は１７日午後５時時点で１万６７７５人分の空きがある。２８日以降は２回目の接種が本格化するため、防衛省は希望者に早めの予約を呼び掛けている。
　２７日までの予約枠が埋まらないため、防衛省は１０日に対象地域を全国に拡大。１２日からはインターネットに加え、電話でも予約を受け付けるなどの対策を取った。しかし申し込みは増えず、防衛省は「高齢者のニーズは十分くみ取れた」と判断。１５日に対象年齢の引き下げを決めた。
　東京・大手町の会場では１７日、高齢者に交じって出勤前の会社員や学生らの姿も見られた。受け付け開始と同時にインターネットで予約を取ったという東京都豊島区の会社員白木慎一さん（４３）は、「会社で職域接種がないので、早く打てて良かった」とほっとした表情。墨田区の公務員安田豊さん（３６）は「窓口業務で人と接することが多いので早く打ちたかった。スムーズに打てた」と話した。（2021/06/17-18:23）

Japan's Self-Defense Forces-run mass coronavirus vaccination centers in Tokyo and the western Japan city of Osaka on Thursday started inoculating people aged 18-64 in addition to those aged 65 and above.
   The Defense Ministry lowered the age of people eligible for vaccinations at the SDF-run venues in an attempt to fill vacant appointment slots.
   According to the ministry, vaccination slots at the two centers are filled up for Thursday through Sunday. But for Monday through June 27, about 26,000 slots at the Tokyo venue and some 23,000 slots at the Osaka venue remained unreserved as of 8 p.m. Wednesday (11 a.m. GMT).
   People with vaccination tickets issued by municipal governments can receive their first-round shots at the venues.
   The ministry is urging younger people to make reservations quickly, because many elderly people will receive their second-round shots at the centers from June 28.
