ワクチン接種豚、出荷へ　江藤農水相が群馬の食肉卸売市場視察

　家畜伝染病「豚コレラ」対策としてワクチンを接種した豚の肉製品の出荷が１５日以降始まる。江藤拓農林水産相は出荷を控えた１１日午前、群馬県食肉卸売市場（玉村町）を視察した。施設の衛生管理が適切に行われているかを確認するとともに、肉の安全性をアピールするのが狙いだ。
　ワクチンを打った豚の肉は、早ければ１５日にも岐阜県などで流通が始まる。群馬県での出荷は１７日以降になりそうだ。農水省によると、食べても人体に影響はない。
　同市場は豚の処理能力が全国１位。江藤氏は感染が広がらないよう、施設に出入りする車両や従業員の消毒体制が十分かを確認した。
　視察を終えた江藤氏は記者団に対し、「手本となる優良事例だ」と施設を評価。その上で「（かつて豚にワクチンを接種したからといって）健康被害も味が落ちたということもなかった。変わらず購入してほしい」と述べ、安全性を強調した。（2019/11/11-12:08）

Minister Touts Safety of Pork after Swine Fever Vaccinations

Agriculture minister Taku Eto inspected a wholesale meat market Monday before the shipment of pork from pigs vaccinated against swine fever starts in Japan as early as this week.
   Eto visited the market in Tamamura, Gunma Prefecture, eastern Japan, to examine its sanitary conditions and publicize the safety of pork.
   In Japan, outbreaks of swine fever have prompted some prefectures to vaccinate pigs to prevent the spread of the disease.
   The shipment of pork from vaccinated pigs will start Friday at the earliest in the central Japan prefecture of Gifu and elsewhere. In Gunma, the start is expected for as early as Sunday.
   Eating pork from vaccinated pigs poses no health risks, according to the agriculture ministry.
