２月コンビニ売上高、５．３％減　緊急事態宣言延長で苦戦

　日本フランチャイズチェーン協会が２２日発表した２月の全国コンビニエンスストア売上高は、既存店ベースで前年同月比５．３％減の７６３３億円だった。１２カ月連続のマイナス。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を受けた政府の緊急事態宣言が延長され、客足が戻らず苦戦した。
　前年がうるう年で１日多かったことも響いた。来店客数は１２．３％減。人口の多い都市部を中心に外出自粛や在宅勤務が続き低迷した。（2021/03/22-16:59）

Sales at convenience stores in Japan in February fell 5.3 pct from a year before to 763.3 billion yen on a same-store basis, down for the 12th successive month, the Japan Franchise Association said Monday.
Convenience stores struggled as the number of visitors plunged 12.3 pct in the month, with the government maintaining a state of emergency over the coronavirus pandemic in Tokyo and some other prefectures throughout the month.
