五輪相に橋本氏浮上＝茂木氏は外相有力－内閣改造

　安倍晋三首相が１１日に行う内閣改造で、自民党の橋本聖子前参院議員会長を五輪担当相に起用する案が５日、浮上した。五輪メダリストでスポーツ行政に精通しており、来年夏の東京五輪・パラリンピックの「顔」になるとの見方だ。茂木敏充経済再生担当相は外相起用が有力となった。
　橋本氏は１９９２年のアルベールビル大会でスピードスケート選手として銅メダルを獲得するなど、夏冬計７回の五輪出場を果たした。現在も日本オリンピック委員会（ＪＯＣ）副会長を務めるなど、長く五輪と関わっており、「最有力候補」（閣僚経験者）との声が上がっている。首相が掲げる「女性活躍」の方針とも合致する。
　内閣改造に伴う自民党役員人事では、森山裕国対委員長が続投を含め、党の要職で起用されるとの見方が強まっている。
　森山氏はこれまで国会運営の要として手堅い手腕を発揮。首相や菅義偉官房長官の信頼も厚く、政府高官は「森山氏の果たした役割は大きい」と評価する。党四役で処遇されるとの観測も出ている。
　公明党は５日の常任役員会で、内閣改造への対応を山口那津男代表に一任した。同党から入閣している石井啓一国土交通相の処遇が焦点。交代する場合は石田祝稔政調会長の名前が挙がっている。山口氏はロシア訪問中の首相が帰国する６日以降に、同党の要望を伝える方針だ。（2019/09/06-07:07）

Former speed skater Seiko Hashimoto emerged as a candidate for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics minister on Thursday, ahead of a planned cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Wednesday.
   Hashimoto, elected to the House of Councillors for a fifth time in July, has participated in a total of seven Summer and Winter Olympics, including the 1992 Winter Games in Albertville, France, where she won a bronze medal.
   As Hashimoto currently serves as vice president of the Japanese Olympic Committee, a former cabinet member described her as "the most promising candidate" for the ministerial post.
   Hashimoto's appointment to the post would also come in line with the Abe administration's emphasis on promoting women's social participation.
   Meanwhile, Toshimitsu Motegi, currently economic revitalization minister, is seen as likely to assume the post of foreign minister.
