Four major Japanese consumer electronics retailers secured year-on-year growth in their consolidated net profits in April-December 2020, according to their earnings reports released by Thursday.
They were backed partly by robust sales of large-screen television sets and personal computers due to the trend to spend time at and work from home amid the novel coronavirus crisis.
