任天堂、純利益４０００億円に　「あつ森」で再び上方修正―２１年３月期

　任天堂は１日、２０２１年３月期連結純利益予想を４０００億円（従来３０００億円）に上方修正した。新型コロナウイルス感染拡大に伴う巣ごもり需要を追い風に、家庭用ゲーム機「ニンテンドースイッチ」や人気ゲームソフト「あつまれ　どうぶつの森」などの販売が伸びており、０９年３月期（２７９０億円）以来、１２年ぶりの最高益更新を見込む。上方修正は昨年１１月に続き２度目。
　発売４年目のスイッチは据え置き型、携帯型双方で楽しめるゲーム機で、２０年４～１２月期の世界販売は既に２４１０万台に達した。専用ソフトの需要も堅調で、日米欧などで昨年３月に発売した「あつ森」の売上本数は１９４１万本、累計で３１１８万本に上った。
　あつ森に加え、人気ゲームの歴代作品を集めた「スーパーマリオ　３Ｄコレクション」などのヒットに恵まれ、２１年３月期の世界販売目標はスイッチを２６５０万台（従来２４００万台）、ソフトは２億５００万本（同１億７０００万本）に１～２割引き上げた。古川俊太郎社長はオンライン記者会見で「スイッチシリーズの販売は年明け以降も勢いがある」と強調した。
　１日発表した２０年４～１２月期連結決算は売上高が前年同期比３７．３％増の１兆４０４４億円。本業のもうけを示す営業利益は９８．２％増の５２１１億円、純利益が９１．８％増の３７６６億円と第３四半期として過去最高だった。（2021/02/01-20:35）

Nintendo Ups FY 2020 Net Profit Estimate to 400 B. Yen

Japanese video game maker Nintendo Co. said Monday that it has revised up its consolidated net profit estimate by 100 billion yen to 400 billion yen for fiscal 2020.
Nintendo expects to rewrite its net profit record for the first time in 12 years thanks to strong sales of the Nintendo Switch game console series and the "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" game title reflecting stay-at-home demand amid the novel coronavirus crisis.
