ＪＲ東日本、赤字４５００億円に拡大へ　コロナ流行響く―２１年３月期

　ＪＲ東日本は２９日、２０２１年３月期連結業績予想を下方修正したと発表した。純損益を４５００億円の赤字（従来予想は４１８０億円の赤字）とした。通期の赤字は１９８７年の国鉄分割民営化後初めてで、新型コロナウイルス感染再拡大に伴う旅客需要の低迷が響く。
　緊急事態宣言の再発令などで利用者が減少しており、売上高予想は前期比３９．８％減の１兆７７３０億円（同１兆９３００億円）に減額した。
　事業環境の一段の悪化を受け、長期の収益目標も修正。２３年３月期に５２００億円としていた連結営業利益を２６年３月期に４５００億円へ引き下げた。コロナ収束後も旅客収入が従来の水準には戻らないと想定した。
　２０年４～１２月期は純損益が２９４５億円の赤字（前年同期は２５１５億円の黒字）。新幹線収入は前年同期比７割減だった。（2021/01/29-18:26）

East Japan Railway Co. , or JR East, said Friday that it expects to incur a larger net loss than previously forecast in the year ending in March due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
The company now estimates a consolidated net loss of 450 billion yen, compared with its previous forecast for a loss of 418 billion yen. A resurgence in coronavirus cases weighed heavily on rail passenger traffic.
