日立金属、品質不正８０年代から　１７００社納入、経営陣隠蔽

　日立金属は２８日、品質不正問題に関する調査報告書を公表した。遅くとも１９８０年代から不正が行われ、対象商品の納入先は１７４７社に上ることが確認された。現時点では性能上の不具合や安全上の問題は確認されていないという。経営陣が不正を黙認、隠蔽（いんぺい）するなど、全社的な法令順守の意識の欠如も明らかになった。（2021/01/28-19:15）

Data Manipulation at Hitachi Metals Started in 1980s

Hitachi Metals Ltd. said Thursday that the manipulation of quality inspection data for its products dates back to the 1980s at the latest.
Affected products were delivered to 1,747 client firms, the Japanese company said in an investigation report. There have been no cases of product defects or safety lapses, Hitachi Metals said.
