日本板硝子が早期退職募集　コロナで業績悪化

　日本板硝子は２９日、新型コロナウイルスによる業績の悪化を受け、２０１２年以来となる早期退職を募集すると発表した。同社は１１月に事業構造改革として海外も含めて２０００人を削減する方針を打ち出している。国内では社員の約１割に相当する４００人を減らす予定で、早期退職募集はその一環。
　来年１～２月に募集する早期退職の対象は、同社本体に勤務する４０歳以上の社員８００人強。来年３月末で退職する。募集人数は未定。応募者には、退職金の割り増しや再就職の支援を実施する。（2020/12/29-17:12）

Nippon Sheet Glass to Offer Early Retirement Package

Nippon Sheet Glass Co. said Tuesday that it will offer an early retirement package for its employees for the first time since 2012, in the face of worsened earnings amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The announcement came after the company unveiled a plan in November to reduce 2,000 jobs, as part of its structural reform. In Japan, the company plans to cut 400 jobs, or about 10 pct of its workforce.
