地銀構想「１０行決まっている」　残り３行の参加に自信―北尾ＳＢＩ社長

　インターネット金融大手ＳＢＩホールディングスの北尾吉孝社長は２３日、名古屋市で開かれた地域金融機関に関するセミナーでビデオ講演し、複数の地銀に出資する「地銀連合構想」について「１０行まで必ずやる。名前も全部決まっている」と述べた。構想には島根銀行など既に７行が参加しており、残り３行にも自信を示した格好だ。
　北尾氏はこれまで出資先を「最大１０行」とする考えを示していた。構想の狙いについて「（地銀に）自己変革、自己進化してもらおうというもので、決してＡとＢをくっつけて数を減らすという発想ではない」と説明した。（2020/11/23-15:35）

SBI's Kitao Confident of Attracting 3 More Regional Banks

Yoshitaka Kitao, president of major Japanese online financial service firm SBI Holdings Inc. , on Monday expressed his confidence in inviting three more regional lenders for the group's initiative to form a union of regional banks in the country.
"We are determined to attract 10 regional banks for the initiative," Kitao said in an online speech for a seminar on regional financial institutions held in Nagoya, the capital of Aichi Prefecture, central Japan. A decision has already been made on all 10 participating banks, he added.
