ブリヂストン、６９年ぶり赤字　純損失６００億円予想―２０年１２月期

　ブリヂストンは１２日、２０２０年１２月期の連結純損益（国際会計基準）が６００億円の赤字になるとの見通しを発表した。前期は２４０１億円の黒字で、赤字転落は１９５１年以来６９年ぶり。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大で、世界的にタイヤの販売数量が減少したことに加え、海外事業などの減損損失の計上が響いた。
　２０年１～９月期連結決算は売上高に当たる売上収益が前年同期比１８．１％減の２兆１４８９億円で、純損益は２４１億円の赤字（前年同期は１８８５億円の黒字）だった。（2020/11/12-20:09）

Bridgestone Bracing for 1st Net Loss in 69 Years

Major Japanese tire maker Bridgestone Corp. said Thursday that it expects to see its first net loss in 69 years in the business year ending in December as its tire sales are slumping globally amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The company estimates its group net loss at 60 billion yen for the current year, against the previous year's net profit of 240.1 billion yen. The loss projection also reflects impairment losses related to overseas operations.
