取引先２７５０社の情報漏えい　ファイル誤送信―日本郵便子会社

　日本郵便は２０日、子会社の郵便局物販サービス（東京）で取引先企業２７５０社の担当者の氏名や電話番号などが含まれたファイルが外部に漏えいしたと発表した。社員が誤って取引先３２社に電子メールで送信。ファイルには取引先企業の預金口座番号なども含まれていたが、これまでに情報が悪用される被害は確認されていないという。
　郵便局物販サービスは、郵便局窓口で扱う中元や歳暮用商品のカタログ販売を手掛けており、流出したのは商品の仕入れ先企業の情報。沖縄事業本部の担当者が６日、３２社に業務でメールを送った際、誤って取引先企業のファイルを添付して送信した。７日に上司が気付いて誤送信が発覚し、３２社に情報の削除を依頼。１９日までに社員が３２社を訪問し、情報の削除や、第三者への漏えいなどがないことを確認したという。（2020/10/20-18:05）

A computer file containing data on 2,750 business partners of a unit of Japan Post Co. has been erroneously leaked, the parent company said Tuesday.
   On Oct. 6, an employee of the Tokyo-based unit, Japan Post Trading Service Co., which conducts catalog-based sales of midsummer and year-end gifts handled at post offices, mistakenly attached the file to a business email addressed to 32 other partner companies and sent it, according to Japan Post Co., the mail and parcel delivery service arm of Japan Post Holdings Co. .
   The file contained information such as the names and telephone numbers of employees of the 2,750 companies, which are suppliers of items for the gifts, and bank account numbers of the firms.
   There has been no report on the leaked information being misused, according to Japan Post Co.
   A supervisor of the Japan Post Trading employee, who is a member of the staff at the company's office in the southernmost Japan prefecture of Okinawa, noticed the mistake on Oct. 7 and asked the 32 companies to delete the file.
