ＧｏＴｏ、割引制限相次ぐ　予約急増で給付金枠不足―大手旅行サイト

　大手の旅行予約サイトで「Ｇｏ　Ｔｏ　トラベル」キャンペーンの割引適用を制限する動きが相次いでいる。旅行の予約が急増し、割り引きのため政府から各サイトに割り当てられた給付金枠が不足してきたのが理由。利用者が使い慣れたサイトで予約できず、観光需要の拡大に水を差すことになりかねない状況だ。
　観光庁は割引実施のため旅行会社に配分している給付金額を公表していない。今後、枠を追加配分するが、一部のサイトへの人気集中が続けば、再び「売り切れ」が生じる恐れもある。
　キャンペーンでは旅行代金の３５％分（最大１泊１万４０００円）の割り引きが受けられる。１０月１日から東京都発着の旅行が支援対象に追加され、予約が急増している。
　大手予約サイトの「楽天トラベル」は８日以降の新規予約について、割り引きの上限は据え置いたがキャンペーンの利用回数を１会員につき１回に制限した。本来なら何回でも利用できるはずだが、「できるだけ多くのお客さまに利用してもらうため」（広報担当者）と説明している。
　「Ｙａｈｏｏ！トラベル」や「じゃらん」では、１人１泊当たりの割引上限額を１万４０００円から３５００円に引き下げた。ＪＲ東海ツアーズは、給付金枠に達したため大阪府を除く近畿圏や四国へのキャンペーンを使った旅行商品の販売を見合わせている。
　一方、ＪＴＢや近畿日本ツーリストでは、こうした制限は行っていない。新型コロナウイルスの影響で、店舗へ訪れず手軽に予約できる大手サイトに客が集中した可能性がある。（2020/10/13-07:04）

Restrictions Spreading over Go To Travel Discounts

Major travel-booking websites are restricting the application of discounts provided under the Japanese government's "Go To Travel" tourism promotion program due to concerns about fund shortages.
   Many website operators are approaching the limits on the state subsidies made available to them to cover the costs of the discounts, following a surge in the number of Go To Travel users.
   Their moves may put a drag on the tourism demand recovery.
   The Japan Tourism Agency does not disclose the amount of subsidies made available to each company.
   Additional funds will be given to improve the situation. But an influx of reservations may make some booking sites restrict the use of Go To Travel again even if such a measure is taken.
