オンワード、２年連続赤字へ　８５億円、コロナで販売苦戦―２１年２月期

　アパレル大手のオンワードホールディングスは９日、２０２１年２月期の連結純損益が８５億円の赤字になる見通しだと発表した。不採算店舗の撤退を中心に構造改革を進めているが、新型コロナウイルス流行の影響で百貨店内などの店舗の販売が苦戦。２年連続の赤字決算を余儀なくされる。
　電子商取引（ＥＣ）を通じた販売は好調で、２０年８月中間決算の売上高はＥＣが初めて主力販路である百貨店を上回った。２１年２月期でＥＣ売上高は５００億円規模を目指しており、今後は郊外にオンラインサイトと連動した実店舗を新たに出店する計画だ。
　保元道宣社長は電話記者会見し、オンライン連動型店舗について「国内事業の反転攻勢の起爆剤にしたい」と述べた。
　２０年８月中間純損益は１５１億円の赤字だった。（2020/10/09-18:52）

Japanese apparel maker Onward Holdings Co. said Friday it expects to post a second straight year of net loss for the year ending in February 2021 due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
The pandemic has weighed on sales of Onward products at department and other brick-and-mortar stores, though online sales are strong, the company said.
