９月の新車販売、ヤリスが初の首位　Ｎ－ＢＯＸ、１０カ月ぶり陥落

　９月の国内車名別新車販売台数は、トヨタ自動車が２月に発売した「ヤリス（旧ヴィッツ）」が初めて首位となった。ホンダの「Ｎ―ＢＯＸ」は昨年１１月以来１０カ月ぶりにトップから陥落した。軽自動車以外が首位になるのは２０１７年８月以来、３年１カ月ぶり。
　新型コロナウイルス感染拡大の長期化で販売台数が振るわない中、Ｎ―ＢＯＸも前年同月比３４．６％減に沈んだ。一方、ヤリスは８月末に発売の小型ＳＵＶ（スポーツ用多目的車）「ヤリスクロス」が台数を押し上げた。日本自動車販売協会連合会と全国軽自動車協会連合会が６日発表した。
　２０年度上半期（４～９月）では、Ｎ―ＢＯＸが４年連続で首位に立ったものの、販売台数は前年同期比３３．４％減だった。上位に入った軽自動車でも、スズキ「スペーシア」が２１．８％減、ダイハツ工業「タント」が４０．８％減と大幅マイナスが目立った。（2020/10/06-17:31）

Toyota's Yaris Ranks Top in Sales in Japan for 1st Time

Toyota Motor Corp.'s Yaris topped Japan's new car sales rankings for the first time in September, with its sales coming to 22,066 units, industry data showed on Tuesday.
It was the first time in three years and one month that a car that is not a minivehicle has won the best place in the monthly rankings. Honda Motor Co.'s N-Box minivehicle slipped from the top position for the first time in 10 months.
