Mitsubishi UFJ Lease, Hitachi Capital to Merge
Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance Co. and Hitachi Capital Corp. said Thursday that they will merge in April next year in a deal that creates the second-largest leasing company in Japan.
The merged company will have some 10 trillion yen in aggregate assets under management and 100 billion yen in net profit, making it ranked second after industry leader Orix Corp. .
