東芝総会、議決権１．３％無効扱い　委託先運用で、影響拡大の可能性

　東芝は１８日、７月３１日の定時株主総会をめぐり、期限の総会前日までに郵送で届いていたにもかかわらず、集計対象外となった議決権行使書が１１３９枚あったと発表した。事務委託先の運用が理由とされ、議決権比率で１．３％に相当する。総会の議決結果を覆す規模ではないが、東芝は検証を続け、議決権行使結果の修正が必要か検討する。
　事務を受託した三井住友信託銀行によると、東芝に限った運用ではないといい、他の上場会社に影響が広がる可能性がある。
　この問題は、４％強の議決権を持つシンガポールの投資ファンド「３Ｄ・オポチュニティー・マスター・ファンド」が８月上旬、期限３日前に東京都内から郵送した行使書が採決に反映されなかったと主張して発覚した。（2020/09/18-23:33）

Toshiba Corp. said Friday that 1.3 pct of voting rights was not reflected in the results of voting at its general shareholder meeting on July 31 due to the failure to count some voting cards despite them being delivered by mail before a cutoff date.
The number of uncounted voting cards came to 1,139, the Japanese electronics and machinery maker said. The cutoff date was July 30, the day before the meeting.
