アラートで日傘レンタル無料　熱中症対策、企業と連携―環境省

　環境省は、傘のレンタルサービスを提供している民間企業と連携し、関東甲信地方で試行中の「熱中症警戒アラート」が発表された日に、無料で日傘を借りられるようにする取り組みを始めた。１都８県のいずれかで発表されると、当日に限り、東京都と茨城、埼玉、神奈川の３県にある約４５０カ所のレンタルスポットで利用できる。
　アラートは、熱中症のリスクが極めて高くなると予想される場合に、前日夕と当日朝に環境省と気象庁が発表。傘レンタルの「アイカサ」を展開する「ネイチャー・イノベーション・グループ」（東京都渋谷区）と協力し、熱中症対策として日傘を気軽に使ってもらおうと、無料化することにした。
　アイカサを使うには、スマートフォン用アプリから利用者登録が必要。通常時のレンタル料金は１日７０円。（2020/08/31-05:24）

The Japanese Environment Ministry has started renting out parasols for free as protection against heatstroke on days heatstroke alerts are issued.
   The project is carried out in cooperation with a private company based in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward, Nature Innovation Group, which operates the "Aikasa" umbrella rental service.
   The ministry and the Japan Meteorological Agency have introduced the heatstroke alert system on a trial basis in Tokyo and eight other prefectures in the Kanto-Koshin eastern Japan region.
   When an alert is issued for at least one of the prefectures, people can borrow parasols for free at some 450 rental stations in Tokyo and the prefectures of Ibaraki, Saitama and Kanagawa.
   Under the system, an alert is sent in the previous day's evening and in the morning of the day of high heatstroke risks.
