人的往来、９月上旬に再開　日カンボジア外相会談

　茂木敏充外相は２２日、訪問先のカンボジアで、プラク・ソコン副首相兼外相と会談した。新型コロナウイルスの影響で途絶えている人的往来のうち、長期滞在するビジネス客について、９月上旬の往来再開を目指すことで合意した。
　茂木氏はまた、新型コロナの感染拡大による世界情勢の変化を受け、「『自由で開かれたインド太平洋』構想の強化はこれまで以上に重要だ」と指摘。プラク・ソコン氏も賛意を示した。（2020/08/22-19:23）

Japan, Cambodia Aim to Resume Biz Travel in Early Sept.

Visiting Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn agreed Saturday to aim to resume business travel between their countries in early September.
At their meeting in the Southeast Asian country, Motegi also emphasized the need to strengthen the free and open Indo-Pacific initiative, and Prak Sokhonn expressed support for the view.
Earlier in the day, Motegi had a meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen. They affirmed their countries' cooperation on South China Sea and North Korean issues.
