国内感染者、６万人超える　増加ペース衰えず―新型コロナ

　新型コロナウイルスの感染者は２０日、全国で新たに１１８４人が確認され、クルーズ船の乗船者らを含めた国内の累計感染者は６万７４７人となった。死者は埼玉、東京、大阪、沖縄各都府県などで１１人増え、累計で１１７３人となった。
　国内では１月１６日に感染者が初めて確認され、３カ月後に１万人を超えた。新規感染者は５月から６月にかけて減少したが、７月に再び増加。８月３日に累計４万人、同１０日に５万人を突破しており、依然として増加基調が続いている。
　東京都では新たに３３９人の感染が確認され、５日ぶりに３００人を超えた。都によると、２０～３０代が計１８３人で、約半数を占めた。重症者は３６人で前日から４人増えた。
　大阪府の新規感染者は１３２人で、３日連続で１００人台となった。累計感染者は７４２０人。
　北海道は１６日から４日連続で１桁だったが、２０日は２５人の感染が確認された。看護師１人の感染が判明していた小樽市立病院で、新たに入院患者１０人と職員６人の感染が確認され、市はクラスター（感染者集団）が発生したと発表した。（2020/08/20-23:05）

Tokyo's Daily Coronavirus Tally Rebounds above 300

The daily number of newly confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Tokyo came to 339 on Thursday, exceeding 300 for the first time in five days, the metropolitan government said.
In Japan, the total number of fatalities among infected people climbed to 1,163, with a new death reported in the western prefecture of Tokushima on the day.
In the northern prefecture of Hokkaido, meanwhile, the city of Otaru announced that 10 inpatients and six staff members at a city-run hospital have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus since a nurse tested positive.
