安倍首相、病院で受診　「体調管理に万全期す」

　安倍晋三首相は１７日午前、診察を受けるため、東京・信濃町の慶応大病院に入った。首相周辺は「体調管理に万全を期すため」と説明している。１８日まで公務を入れず、静養する予定だという。
　首相は第１次政権時の２００７年、持病の潰瘍性大腸炎が悪化し、直後に退陣した経緯がある。新型コロナウイルスへの対応の長期化などにより健康を不安視する声は与党内に広がっており、このタイミングでの受診は臆測を呼びそうだ。（2020/08/17-12:01）

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe entered Keio University Hospital in Tokyo on Monday morning amid increasing concern about his health among ruling lawmakers.
   Informed sources said he went to see a doctor.
   Abe has avoided lengthy press conferences and off-session debates of the Diet, Japan's parliament, since its ordinary session closed in June.
   Abe sometimes interacts with reporters waiting for him at the prime minister's office. But some observers say his voice lacks vigor and that he does not look very well.
