ロシア承認のコロナワクチン輸入に慎重　加藤厚労相

　加藤勝信厚生労働相は１２日、ロシアが承認した新型コロナウイルスワクチンの輸入や日本での承認の可能性について「すぐにということにはなっていない」と述べ、慎重に対応する考えを示した。東京都内で記者団に語った。
　政府は既に、米製薬大手ファイザーや英製薬大手アストラゼネカと新型コロナワクチンの供給を受けることで基本合意している。加藤氏は「ワクチン接種を幅広く、できるだけ早くできるよう努力するが、安全性もしっかりチェックしながら導入に取り組む」と強調した。（2020/08/12-15:47）

Japan Cautious on Russian-Developed COVID-19 Vaccine

The Japanese government is cautious about approving or importing a COVID-19 vaccine developed and approved by Russia, health minister Katsunobu Kato indicated Wednesday.
   "It's not like we'll approve (the vaccine) immediately," Kato told reporters.
   The Japanese government has concluded basic agreements respectively with U.S. and British drugmakers Pfizer Inc. and AstraZeneca PLC on the supply of their coronavirus vaccines under development.
   "We're striving to carry out vaccinations as widely and promptly as possible, but we are also aiming to fully check safety," the minister stressed.
