国内感染５万人超す　東京、２週間ぶり２００人未満―新型コロナ

　国内では１０日、新たに８３９人の新型コロナウイルス感染者が確認され、クルーズ船の乗船者を含めた累計感染者数は５万人を超えた。過去１６日間で約２万人増えており、増加ペースに歯止めがかからない状況が続いている。
　死者は沖縄県などで新たに判明し、累計で１０６７人となった。
　東京都では１０日、感染者が新たに１９７人確認された。２００人を下回ったのは２週間ぶり。一方、入院患者数は１６８２人で、記録がある５月１２日以降で最多。重症者は２４人で前日より１人増えた。
　大阪府は、大阪商業大高校（東大阪市）の運動部で、これまでに男子部員９人の陽性が判明したと発表した。府はクラスター（感染者集団）とみている。
　国内で初めて感染者が確認されたのは１月１６日。３カ月後に累計１万人を超え、政府の緊急事態宣言発令で新規感染者はいったん減少したが、飲食店の営業再開など経済活動が活発化すると再び増加に転じた。７月下旬に累計３万人に達した後はほぼ連日、全国の合計が１０００人超で推移している。（2020/08/11-00:01）

The Tokyo metropolitan government said Monday that 197 people were newly confirmed to be infected with the novel coronavirus in the Japanese capital on the day.
   The daily count of new cases fell below 200 for the first time in 14 days.
   Of Monday's total, 65 people are in their 20s and 45 in their 30s, together making up 56 pct, according to the metropolitan government. Of the rest, 34 people are in their 40s, 22 in their 50s, eight in the 10-19 age bracket, seven in their 70s, six aged under 10, five in their 60s and five in their 80s.
   The number of seriously ill coronavirus patients stood at 24, up by one from Sunday. Tokyo's cumulative cases of the novel coronavirus reached 16,064.
   The death toll related to the coronavirus across Japan increased by one to 1,063, with the new fatality confirmed in the western prefecture of Wakayama.
