米製薬企業とワクチン開発へ　新型コロナ、三重大など

　三重大と三重県菰野町の製薬会社「バイオコモ」は２８日、米製薬企業「メディシノバ」（カリフォルニア州）と新型コロナウイルスのワクチンを共同開発することで合意したと発表した。三重大などによると、新型コロナワクチンの開発で、日本の企業や大学が欧米企業と連携するのは初だという。（2020/07/28-18:16）

Japan's Mie University and pharmaceutical company BioComo said Tuesday they have agreed with MediciNova Inc. of the United States to jointly develop a vaccine for the novel coronavirus.
The university in the central prefecture of Mie and BioComo, based in the Mie town of Komono, have developed a gene that has the property of connecting with antibodies and a harmless virus strain that delivers proteins produced by the gene.
