ミャンマーでＬＮＧ発電所　丸紅など、２１００億円投じ

　丸紅と住友商事は２７日、三井物産などとともに、ミャンマーの最大都市ヤンゴン近郊で同国最大規模の液化天然ガス（ＬＮＧ）火力発電所を建設する権利を取得したと発表した。総事業費は約２０億ドル（約２１００億円）で、２０２３年に着工、２６年の商業運転開始を目指す。
　建設予定地はヤンゴン近郊のティラワ地区で、発電能力は１２５万キロワットと原発１基分に相当する。現地企業を含む４社共同でミャンマー政府から独占開発権を取得した。商業運転の開始後２５年間、国営電力発電公社に売電する計画だ。ＬＮＧの貯蔵施設なども建設する。（2020/07/27-17:19）

Japanese Firms to Build LNG-Fired Power Plant in Myanmar

Japanese trading houses Marubeni Corp. and Sumitomo Corp. said Monday they will build a liquefied natural gas-fired thermal power plant in Myanmar in cooperation with Mitsui & Co. and a local firm.
The four companies have been granted exclusive rights for the development of the power plant from the Myanmar government.
