原爆投下７５年、実相知って　ＩＣＡＮがオンラインツアー企画―広島・長崎の資料館

　原爆投下から７５年の節目となる今年、多くの人に被爆の実相に触れてもらおうと、ノーベル平和賞を受賞した国際ＮＧＯ「核兵器廃絶国際キャンペーン」（ＩＣＡＮ）が広島平和記念資料館と長崎原爆資料館のオンラインツアーを実施する。広島の資料館は２２日午後６時半、長崎の資料館は２４日午前８時からで、いずれも約３０分間。
　新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大で、世界各地から被爆地を訪れることができない現状を踏まえて企画された。ＩＣＡＮのインスタグラム（＠ｎｕｃｌｅａｒｂａｎ）をフォローすれば誰でも参加でき、地元で平和教育などに携わる人が館内を英語で案内する様子がライブ配信される。時差で見られない人のため、ライブ配信の様子は２４時間保存され、視聴できるようにする。
　ＩＣＡＮ国際運営委員の川崎哲さん（５１）は「（国外の人が）広島や長崎の資料館を見ることは一生に一度の機会だ。インスタを活用し、被爆国日本の貴重なメッセージを世界の多くの人に見てもらいたい」と話した。（2020/07/21-20:33）

The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, or ICAN, will conduct online tours to introduce museums on the U.S. atomic bombings of the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the closing days of World War II.
   The virtual tours organized by the nongovernmental organization, which won the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize, will take place for about 30 minutes each for the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum. The tours will start at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday Japan time (9:30 a.m. GMT) for the former and at 8 a.m. Friday for the latter.
   Hiroshima, western Japan, was flattened by a U.S. atomic bomb on Aug. 6, 1945. Nagasaki, southwestern Japan, suffered the same fate three days later.
   The virtual tours are designed to help people around the world see the reality of the nuclear attacks, at a time when visiting the museums is impossible amid the novel coronavirus pandemic and with this year marking the 75th anniversary of the bombings.
   Anybody who follows ICAN on Instagram can take part in the tours, which will broadcast a live stream of people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki who engage in peace education introducing the museums, including their exhibits, in English, according to ICAN.
