東京都内で五輪ボランティアの研修スタート＝全国１２万人が受講予定

　２０２０年東京五輪・パラリンピックのボランティア研修が４日、東京都内で始まった。競技場で大会運営をサポートする「フィールドキャスト」と、空港や最寄り駅など会場周辺で観客を案内する「シティキャスト」が、本番に向け大会の歴史や障害者への対応を学んだ。来年２月末まで約１２万人が受講する予定だ。
　研修は３時間行われ、近代五輪の父と呼ばれたクーベルタン男爵やパラリンピックの起源といった大会の歴史のほか、障害者やＬＧＢＴＱ（性的少数者）への対応を講師が説明。シティキャストの研修では、車いす利用者と視覚障害者に対する具体的な介助方法も実演された。（2019/10/04-18:01）

Training for volunteers for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games started in the capital on Friday, with some 120,000 people seen taking such training by the end of February next year.
   At the first day's three-hour session, a lecturer had explanations on Baron Pierre de Coubertin, called the father of modern Olympics, and the origin of the Paralympics, as well as how to serve disabled people.
   The volunteers are divided into "field casts," to support competition operations at venues, and "city casts," to guide spectators at airports and stations near venues.
   Specific care services for wheelchair users and visually impaired people were shown at the training session for city volunteers.
   Such training sessions will be held at 11 prefectures across Japan in stages by the end of February next year, with some 80,000 field volunteers and 40,000 city volunteers expected to attend.
