４月消費、１１．１％減　落ち込み最大、外出自粛響く

　総務省が５日発表した４月の家計調査によると、１世帯（２人以上）当たりの消費支出は２６万７９２２円となり、物価変動の影響を除いた実質で前年同月比１１．１％減少した。比較可能な２００１年１月以降で過去最大の落ち込みを記録した。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を受けた緊急事態宣言で、全国で外出自粛の動きが広がったことが響いた。
　マイナスは７カ月連続。外出自粛により遊園地入場・乗り物代やパック旅行費、文化施設入場料は軒並み激減。減少幅はいずれも９割を超えた。大勢の人が一堂に会す式典が中止・延期され、在宅勤務が広がったことから、背広服は７９．９％減に落ち込んだ。外出先での飲酒代は９０．３％減、鉄道運賃も８９．９％減と不振を極めた。総務省は「全体としては減少幅の拡大が続いている」（統計調査部）と分析した。
　一方、在宅時間の増加による「巣ごもり消費」から、光熱・水道が７．４％増。パスタは７割増、即席麺が４割増と伸びた。マスクを含む保健用消耗品は約２．２倍と大幅に増加した。（2020/06/05-11:09）

Japanese household spending in April dived 11.1 pct from a year earlier in price-adjusted real terms, the biggest drop since comparable data became available in January 2001, reflecting voluntary outing restrictions amid the coronavirus crisis, the government said Friday.
   Consumption expenditures per household with at least two members came to 267,922 yen, down for the seventh straight month, the internal affairs ministry said.
   Spending on amusement park admission and attraction fees, package tours and cultural facility entrance fees all slumped over 90 pct, as people refrained from going out amid a state of emergency declared over the virus in early April.
   Expenditures on suits plunged 79.9 pct, as ceremonies with a large number of participants were canceled or postponed and more and more people switched to teleworking.
   Spending on drinking at restaurants and other places plummeted 90.3 pct, while expenditures on railway fares plunged 89.9 pct.
