レオパレス、希望退職１０００人　２０年３月期は８０３億円の純損失

　賃貸アパート大手レオパレス２１が、全従業員の約１５％に当たる１０００人規模の希望退職を募ることが４日、分かった。施工不良問題で入居率が低迷していることで業績が悪化しており、人員削減を含む抜本的な経営改革を進める。
　同社は４日、２０２０年３月期連結業績予想の下方修正を発表した。入居率低下に加え、施工不良物件の改修費用の増加などにより、純損失は従来予想の３０４億円から８０３億円に拡大する。前期の６８６億円に続き、大幅な赤字に陥ることになり、経営再建に向け一段と厳しさが増している。今年３月までとしていた宮尾文也社長の役員報酬の６０％減額措置を２１年３月まで延長する。
　経営立て直しのため、新規のアパート建築事業を縮小し、営業所を削減する方針だ。これに合わせて希望退職も募集し、人員をスリム化して収益改善につなげる。（2020/06/04-12:28）

Leopalace21 Corp. will ask around 1,000 employees, or some 15 pct of its workforce, to apply for a voluntary redundancy program, informed sources said Thursday.
Through the buyout program, the major apartment rental company hopes to implement drastic management reform, including staff reduction, as it has been suffering from a drop in earnings due to a fall in the average apartment occupancy rate stemming from its shoddy construction scandal.
