長引く在宅勤務、対応に苦慮　コロナ拡大、休校延長も―民間企業

　新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を受けて、民間企業の在宅勤務が長期化している。東京都の臨時休校期間の延長などもあり、各社とも在宅勤務の期間を延ばす措置を取る構えだ。ただ、商談や研修、店舗での対面業務は難しく、対応に苦慮している。
　在宅勤務について、ホンダは都内の従業員らを対象に１２日まで延長する。東京で行っているマツダは期限を決めず、ソニーは４月末まで実施する。三菱商事など既に１カ月以上続けている企業もある。
　導入当初からさまざまな課題が指摘されており、日本自動車工業会の豊田章男会長（トヨタ自動車社長）は「在宅勤務の急速な実現を迫られ、（システムやセキュリティー上の）問題が生じた」と認めた。
　通信システムの改善などで解消している問題がある一方、「自宅からのテレビ電話では商談がやりにくい」（三菱ケミカル）、新年度に入り「対面での新人研修ができない」（大手商社）といった課題も浮上している。
　在宅勤務が難しい営業店舗でも模索が続く。三菱ＵＦＪ銀行は、支店の窓口業務や営業担当者などを対象に、有給での自宅待機制度を新設。３０日までの時限措置で、休校期間次第では延長する。各社ともコロナの感染拡大や政府の対応をにらみながら、備えを加速させている。（2020/04/03-07:02）

Japanese businesses are facing difficulties due to prolonged teleworking periods amid the spreading coronavirus outbreak, with such periods expected to continue longer due partly to an extended school shutdown in Tokyo.
   Meanwhile, parents are worried that extended school closures may deprive students of their rights to learn and their academic performances may deteriorate.
   Honda Motor Co. will extend its teleworking period for workers in Tokyo to April 12.
   Mazda Motor Corp. plans to continue its teleworking period for Tokyo workers for an unspecified period, while Sony Corp.'s program will be kept in place until the end of April.
   Trading house Mitsubishi Corp. has maintained a teleworking program for over a month.
