東電、不具合のカメラ交換 デブリ取り出し、再開へ準備―福島第１原発
東京電力は１８日、福島第１原発２号機の溶け落ちた核燃料（デブリ）の試験的取り出し中に不具合を起こしたデブリ回収装置のカメラ２台について、同日までに交換を終えたと明らかにした。いずれも正常に映っているといい、東電はデブリの試験的取り出し作業の再開に向けた準備を進める方針。２週間程度かかる見込みという。
東電によると、交換作業は１６日から開始。原子炉建屋内に放射性物質の汚染拡大防止のためのスペースを設置するなどした上で、作業員が建屋内に入り、デブリ回収装置の先端部にある２台のカメラを手作業で交換した。作業員の身体汚染は確認されていないという。（2024/10/18-19:48）
TEPCO Replaces Glitch-Hit Cameras at Fukushima N-Plant
Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc. said Friday that it has replaced two cameras that were hit by a glitch last month during trial work to remove nuclear fuel debris at its meltdown-stricken Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant.
The new cameras are working properly, and TEPCO aims to resume the trial work at the No. 2 reactor of the plant in Fukushima Prefecture, northeastern Japan, in about two weeks.
According to the company, workers entered the No. 2 reactor building and manually replaced the cameras attached to the tip of the debris removal equipment. No physical contamination has been confirmed for the workers.
