日産、米ＥＶセダン開発延期　需要鈍化で生産計画見直し

　日産自動車が、米ミシシッピ州キャントン工場で２０２５年から生産を予定していた電気自動車（ＥＶ）のセダン２車種の開発を延期することが２２日、分かった。北米でＥＶ需要の伸びが鈍化していることを踏まえ、生産計画を見直す。
　キャントン工場では、セダン「アルティマ」や、ピックアップトラックの「タイタン」と「フロンティア」などを生産している。生産を延期するセダン２車種の開発計画は２２年に公表しており、投資総額は５億ドル（約７８２億円）としていた。（2024/05/22-19:45）

Nissan Motor Co. has postponed the development of two electric sedan models set to be manufactured in the United States due to slowing demand for electric vehicles in North America, people familiar with the matter said Wednesday.
The Japanese automaker in 2022 said that it would spend 500 million dollars to develop two EV sedans and assemble them at its plant in Canton, Mississippi, starting in 2025.
