伊藤忠など５社、物流改革で連携　空き車両の可視化で共同配送

　伊藤忠商事やＫＤＤＩなど５社は１７日、物流改革の推進で連携すると発表した。デジタル技術により車両や倉庫の情報を可視化し、共同配送を行う「フィジカルインターネット」の事業化に向け、新会社を設立する。物流の効率化を進め、２０２４年問題の解決につなげる。（2024/05/17-14:09）

5 Japanese Firms to Collaborate over Logistics

Itochu Corp., KDDI Corp., Toyota Industries Corp., Mitsui Fudosan Co. and Mitsubishi Estate Co. said Friday that they will collaborate in developing an efficient logistics system using digital technology.
The five Japanese companies will establish a joint firm for the collaboration within fiscal 2024, aiming to help address truck driver shortages. Itochu will own more than 50 pct of the new company.
