処理水放出、１７日から　今年度２回目―東電福島第１原発

　東京電力は１５日、福島第１原発にたまる放射性物質トリチウムを含む処理水の放出を１７日午前から実施すると発表した。今年度２回目で、来月４日までに計約７８００トンを海水で薄め、海底トンネルを通じて沖合約１キロから流す。
　今年度は７回で計約５万４６００トンの放出を予定。東電や国などはこれまで、海水や水産物のトリチウム濃度の測定を実施しているが、いずれも国の基準値を大幅に下回っている。（2024/05/15-18:20）

Fukushima N-Plant to Start Fresh Round of Water Release Friday

Japan's Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant will start the second round of discharges of tritium-containing treated water for fiscal 2024 on Friday, its operator, Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc., said Wednesday.
   In the second round set to last until June 4, about 7,800 tons of treated water will be released from about a kilometer off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture via an underwater tunnel after being diluted with seawater.
   TEPCO plans to release about 54,600 tons of treated water in seven rounds during the fiscal year that started last month.
   Tritium levels in seawater and fishery products measured by the company and the government have been far below state standards.
