任天堂、最高益　円安、マリオ映画効果―２４年３月期

　任天堂が７日発表した２０２４年３月期連結決算は、純利益が前期比１３．４％増の４９０６億円と過去最高を更新した。主力の家庭用ゲーム機「ニンテンドースイッチ」やゲームソフトの販売数は前期を下回ったものの、円安に加え、２３年４月公開の映画「ザ・スーパーマリオブラザーズ・ムービー」のヒットが収益を押し上げた。
　売上高は４．４％増の１兆６７１８億円で、このうち海外の比率は７８．３％に上った。本業のもうけを示す営業利益は４．９％増の５２８９億円だった。円安進行で為替差益が５５．１％増の６１５億円に膨らんだ。（2024/05/07-18:26）

Nintendo Posts Record Annual Net Profit on Weaker Yen

Nintendo Co. said Tuesday that its group net profit in fiscal 2023 grew 13.4 pct from the previous year to a record 490.6 billion yen, thanks to the yen's weakening.
The record profit came despite a fall in sales of the company's Nintendo Switch video game console and its software titles in volume terms.
