三菱商事、加でリチウム開発　ＥＶ電池の供給網強化

　【ニューヨーク時事】カナダの鉱物探査企業フロンティア・リチウムは４日、三菱商事とリチウム鉱山開発や精製施設の整備に向け合弁事業を展開することで合意したと発表した。日本とカナダが昨年９月に締結した、電気自動車（ＥＶ）向け蓄電池の供給網強化を目指す協力の一環と説明している。（2024/03/05-10:53）

Mitsubishi to Form JV for Lithium Project in Canada

Canadian mining company Frontier Lithium Inc. said Monday that it has agreed with Japanese trading house Mitsubishi Corp. to form a joint venture for lithium mining and processing in Ontario, eastern Canada.
The deal is based on an agreement reached between Japan and Canada in September last year to promote cooperation in strengthening supply chains for storage batteries used in electric vehicles.
