リクナビ、就職説明会を中止　新型肺炎でマイナビも検討

　就職情報サイト「リクナビ」を運営するリクルートキャリア（東京）は２０日、２０２１年春卒業の学生向け合同企業説明会を３月末まで中止すると発表した。新型コロナウイルスの感染が拡大しており、学生の健康や安全面を考慮した。３月から本格化する就職活動に影響が拡大してきた。
　合同説明会は多くの企業が一堂に集まり、学生が就職情報を効率的に収集できる場として人気が高い。マイナビ（東京）も取りやめを検討している。情報サイト「キャリタス就活」を運営するディスコ（同）は「開催予定だが、状況次第で変わる可能性がある」（担当者）という。
　リクルートキャリアは今月２２日以降に予定していた就活生向けイベントも取りやめる。合同説明会も含め中止するイベントは計１００件近くに上る。同社は延べ約５０００社の参加と計３万～５万人の学生の来場を見込んでいた。（2020/02/20-18:40）

Major Japanese job information provider Recruit Career Co. said Thursday it has decided to call off joint job seminars scheduled in March for students graduating in spring 2021, due to the spread in Japan of the new coronavirus from China.
The unit of Recruit Holdings Co. made the decision in consideration of the health and safety of students. The move by Recruit Career, which runs the Rikunabi job information website, suggests that the impact of the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus on students' job-hunting activities, which usually shift into high gear in spring, is starting to expand.
