副社長に元プラダジャパン社長　店舗改装、海外ブランドと交渉―そごう・西武

　そごう・西武は２５日、元プラダジャパン社長のダヴィデ・セシア氏（５６）を１１月１日付で副社長に起用すると発表した。西武池袋本店（東京都豊島区）などの売り場改装で、海外ブランドとの交渉に同氏の知見を生かしたい考え。
　ダヴィデ氏はイタリア生まれで、２０００年にプラダジャパン社長に就任。海外ブランドを中心に日本での職務経験は約３０年にわたる。同氏は「社会変化や消費者ニーズに合致した百貨店として発展させたい」とのコメントを出した。（2023/10/25-17:49）

Sogo & Seibu Co. said Wednesday that Davide Sesia, former president of Prada Japan Co., will become executive vice president of the Japanese department store operator Nov. 1.
Sogo & Seibu hopes to use the expertise of Sesia, 56, in negotiations with foreign brand houses when renovating sales floors at its flagship Seibu Ikebukuro store in Tokyo, officials said.
