任天堂、２期連続で減収減益　スイッチ販売減―２３年３月期

　任天堂が９日発表した２０２３年３月期連結決算は、純利益が前期比９．４％減の４３２７億円となった。過去３番目の高水準ながら、売上高も減少しており２期連続の減収減益。半導体不足を背景に家庭用ゲーム機「ニンテンドースイッチ」の生産が停滞し、販売台数が２２．１％減の１７９７万台にとどまったことが響いた。
　スイッチの２４年度の予想販売台数は１５００万台を見込む。オンラインで記者会見した古川俊太郎社長は「発売から７年目に入り、これまでと同じようなペースで販売を伸ばし続けていくことは難しい」と説明。一方で、新作ソフトの投入により「まだまだ多くの方に遊んでもらうことは可能だ」と述べた。（2023/05/09-19:24）

Japanese game maker Nintendo Co. said Tuesday that its consolidated net profit for the year that ended in March fell 9.4 pct from the previous year to 432.7 billion yen.
While the bottom line was the third-highest level on record, Nintendo incurred a drop in both net profit and sales for the second consecutive year in fiscal 2022.
