開会式は白と赤の上下　東京五輪・パラ共通の公式服

　日本オリンピック委員会（ＪＯＣ）と日本パラリンピック委員会（ＪＰＣ）は２３日、東京都内で記者会見し、東京五輪・パラリンピックで日本代表選手団が着用する公式服装を発表した。初めて五輪とパラリンピック共通のデザインを採用した。
　公式服装は開会式用と、結団式など式典用の２種類。開会式用は白いジャケットと赤いパンツ、式典用は紺のジャケットに白のパンツで、女性はパンツの代わりにキュロットも選択できる。

　製作した紳士服チェーンのＡＯＫＩによると、「ニッポンを纏（まと）う」がコンセプト。夏の暑さを考慮し、通気性が高く、伸び縮みしやすい素材が使用された。開会式用の服を着た競泳の瀬戸大也（ＡＮＡ）は「第一印象で日本代表という感じがして格好いい。（パラと）一緒でチーム一丸になる」と感想を述べた。（2020/01/23-12:15）

Japan on Thursday unveiled uniforms that will be worn by Japanese athletes during the opening ceremonies of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics this summer and other ceremonies related to the sporting events.
   It is the first time that the same designs have been adopted for Japanese Olympians and Paralympians. The uniforms were unveiled at a press conference in Tokyo by the Japanese Olympic Committee and the Japanese Paralympic Committee.
   One of the two types of uniform is a set of a white jacket and a pair of red pants that will be worn by athletes during the opening ceremonies. Female athletes can choose culottes instead of the pants.
   The uniforms were made by discount suit retailer Aoki Inc.
   Wearing the opening ceremony uniform at the press conference, Japanese star swimmer Daiya Seto said, "It's cool because at first glance, it gives an impression of being a member of the national team."
