半数近くが「自殺考えた」　１０代ＬＧＢＴＱ、過去１年に―ＮＰＯ「相談できる場を」

　１０代の性的少数者（ＬＧＢＴＱ）の半数近くが過去１年間に自殺を考え、１割強に自殺未遂の経験があることが、認定ＮＰＯ法人「ＲｅＢｉｔ（リビット）」（東京）の調査で分かった。同法人代表理事の薬師実芳さん（３３）は「ＬＧＢＴＱが自らの性のあり方について安心して相談できる場が必要だ」と指摘する。
　調査は９月４～３０日、１２～３４歳のＬＧＢＴＱ当事者を対象にインターネット上で実施し、２６２３人から有効回答を得た。
　その結果、この１年で「自殺を考えた」と答えた１０代のＬＧＢＴＱは４８．１％で、「自殺しようとした」は１４．０％に上った。いずれも２０～３０代より高い割合となった。
　日本財団が昨年実施した「自殺意識調査」と比べ、自殺を考えた１０代の割合は３．８倍、自殺未遂は４．１倍だった。自由記述では「自認する性で生きられないことが死にたくなるくらいつらいことだと分かってほしい」などの声が寄せられた。
　アンケートでは回答者の９１．６％が「保護者に相談できない」、学生の９３．６％が「教職員に相談できない」と答えるなど、周囲に悩みを打ち明けにくい状況も浮かび上がった。
　この１年で「学校に行きたくない」と感じたＬＧＢＴＱの中高生は５２．４％。不登校経験は文部科学省の調査の全国平均と比べて中学生が５．４倍、高校生が１０．６倍だった。
　薬師さんは「学校や地域でＬＧＢＴＱの悩みに対応できるような支援体制が必要だ」と訴えた。（2022/10/30-07:04）

Of LGBTQ teens, 48.1 pct thought about committing suicide over the past year and 14 pct attempted to kill themselves, according to a recent survey by a nonprofit organization.
   These proportions were both higher than the percentages of LGBTQ people in their 20s to 30s who gave the same answers, said the Tokyo NPO, ReBit. LGBTQ is the abbreviation for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer or questioning.
   "Places where LGBTQ people can consult about their sexuality without worry are needed," said Mika Yakushi, 33, ReBit's representative director.
   The NPO conducted the survey on LGBTQ people aged 12-34 on Sept. 4-30 over the internet. Effective responses were collected from 2,623 people.
   Compared with a survey on attitudes toward suicide conducted by the Nippon Foundation, the percentage of those who considered killing themselves was 3.8 times higher among LGBTQ teens than among teens as a whole and the proportion of those who made suicide attempts was 4.1 times higher.
