８月消費支出、５．１％増　宿泊など外出関連拡大―総務省

　総務省が７日発表した８月の２人以上世帯の家計調査によると、１世帯当たりの消費支出は２８万９９７４円で、物価変動の影響を除いた実質で前年同月比５．１％増加した。プラスは３カ月連続で、増加率は７月の３．４％から拡大した。３年ぶりに新型コロナウイルス対策の行動制限がない夏休みとなり、外出関連の支出が増えた。
　一方、季節調整済みの前月比は実質で１．７％の減少。感染「第７波」の影響のほか、物価高で消費者心理が悪化した可能性がある。（2022/10/07-11:20）

Japanese household spending rose 5.1 pct in August from a year before in price-adjusted real terms, led by expenditures on outing as the country saw a summer holiday season without strict COVID-19 restrictions for the first time in three years, government data showed Friday.
   Consumption spending by households with two or more members averaged 289,974 yen in August, rising for the third straight month following a 3.4 pct increase in July, the internal affairs ministry said.
   After seasonal adjustment, household spending dropped 1.7 pct in August from the previous month. The seventh COVID-19 wave and soaring prices may have cooled consumer sentiment.
   Accommodations spending surged about 2.7-fold from a year before, and transportation spending increased 63.5 pct. Spending on dining out rose 32.4 pct, of which that on drinking alcohol shot up by 3.5-fold.
   Spending on food rose 0.9 pct, its first rise in seven months, as people bought more confectioneries for gifts that they take with them when visiting their parents during the summer holiday period. Food spending had been on a downtrend as people were having more opportunities to dine out.
