在庫過大評価の疑い　第三者委で調査―ＪＤＩ

　経営再建中の中小型液晶大手ジャパンディスプレイ（ＪＤＩ）は２４日、不適切な会計処理の有無を調べる第三者委員会を設置すると発表した。過去の複数年度にわたり、液晶パネル製品の在庫を累計で１００億円程度、過大に評価していた疑いが判明したため。社外委員のみで構成する第三者委を設け、詳しい調査を委ねる。
　調査の終了時期は未定だが、２０１９年４～１２月期連結決算を発表する２０年２月１３日までに終わらない場合、決算発表日を延期するという。（2019/12/24-20:21）

Japan Display Inc. has said that it will set up a third-party panel to investigate alleged inappropriate accounting at the struggling maker of small and midsize liquid crystal display panels.
The move, announced Tuesday, comes on the heels of allegations that the company overvalued its LCD panel inventories by a total of some 10 billion yen over several years.
