米大統領に４月下旬来日提案　クアッド開催で岸田首相

　岸田文雄首相がバイデン米大統領に対し、４月下旬の来日を提案したことが２５日、分かった。日米にオーストラリア、インドを加えた４カ国（通称クアッド）の首脳会議を開催するためで、今後、最終的な日程調整に入る。
　首相は先進７カ国（Ｇ７）首脳会合出席のため訪れたベルギーで２４日に行ったバイデン氏との立ち話で、「４月下旬の来日を実現したい」と伝えた。ただ、政府関係者は「まだ決まっていない」と語っており、流動的な要素がある。（2022/03/25-22:28）

Kishida Proposes Biden Visit Japan in Late April

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has proposed that U.S. President Joe Biden travel to Japan in late April for a summit of Quad leaders, people familiar with the matter said Friday.
   During his conversations with Biden in Brussels Thursday, Kishida said he wants the U.S. president to visit Japan in late April, the people said.
   A Biden administration official said in January that the president will visit Japan in late spring for a summit of the Quad countries of Japan, the United States, Australia and India.
   The Quad summit is expected to focus on China's growing assertiveness and Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
