東電、今夕に停電の恐れ　「より踏み込んだ節電」要請―東北電管内も「逼迫警報」・経産省

　経済産業省は２２日、電力需給の著しい逼迫（ひっぱく）に伴い、一段の節電が進まなければ東京電力ホールディングス（ＨＤ）管内で同日夕方に電力が不足する見込みだと発表した。広範囲で停電につながる恐れがある。停電を回避するため経産省は「より踏み込んだ一層の節電」を家庭や企業に呼び掛けた。
　１６日の福島県沖を震源とする地震で一部の火力発電所が停止している上、気温低下で暖房用の需要が増加している。経産省は東北電力管内でも「電力需給逼迫警報」を発令。東北電は顧客に節電への協力を要請した。
　萩生田光一経済産業相は２２日の閣議後記者会見で東電管内の電力供給は「極めて厳しい」と指摘。２１日に同警報を初めて発令したことに触れ、「日常生活に支障がない範囲で節電に最大限協力してもらいたい」と述べた。
　東電と経産省は不要な照明を消し暖房温度の設定を２０度にしたり、使っていない機器の電源を落としたりするなど節電への協力を家庭や企業に求めている。（2022/03/22-12:43）

Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc. began receiving electricity from industry peers Tuesday to avoid a possible power outage.
   Seven of the country's major power utilities will offer electricity to TEPCO, with the total supply amount seen reaching up to 1.4 million kilowatts.
   However, the industry ministry warned Tuesday that TEPCO's service area, including Tokyo and surrounding prefectures, could see a power shortage on Tuesday afternoon unless users curb electricity consumption further.
   The risk of power outage comes as temperatures fell sharply to possibly boost demand for electricity for heating amid shutdowns of some thermal power plants caused by a powerful earthquake that mainly struck the Tohoku northeastern Japan region last Wednesday.
