ウクライナ侵攻「即時停止を」　対中、南シナ海の行動けん制―日カンボジア首脳

　【プノンペン時事】岸田文雄首相は２０日午後（日本時間同）、カンボジアの首都プノンペンでフン・セン首相と会談した。両首脳は共同声明を発表し、ウクライナに軍事侵攻したロシアに対し、「武力行使の即時停止とウクライナ領土からの軍撤退」を求めた。
　共同声明は、今回の軍事侵攻について「国境の力による一方的な変更を認めない国際秩序の根幹を揺るがすものだ」と非難。核兵器などを念頭に、「大量破壊兵器による威嚇、使用は受け入れられない」と指摘した。ロシア軍による原子力施設の攻撃についても「国際法違反だ」と断じた。
　岸田氏は会談後の共同記者発表で、東南アジア諸国連合（ＡＳＥＡＮ）の今年の議長国を務めるカンボジアと、「今後の国際会議の場で緊密に連携する」と表明。フン・セン氏も「平和的解決が追求されるべきだ」と主張した。
　両首脳は「自由で開かれたインド太平洋」実現に向けて引き続き協力することを確認。中国の覇権主義的な動きを踏まえ、「南シナ海で緊張を高める一方的な行動を取らないよう関係国に求めることが重要だ」と強調した。（2022/03/20-23:29）

Visiting Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his Cambodian counterpart, Hun Sen, on Sunday urged Russia to stop invading Ukraine immediately.
   The two Asian countries demand that Russia immediately stop the use of force and withdraw its military from Ukraine's territory, according to a joint statement issued by Kishida and Hun Sen.
   Russia's aggression shakes the foundation of international order that rejects any attempt to change a national border unilaterally by the use of force, the two leaders also said.
   Japan and Cambodia reject any use of weapons of mass destruction for intimidation or an actual attack, the statement said, also denouncing Russia's attacks on nuclear facilities as a violation of international law.
   At a joint press conference with Hun Sen after their meeting in the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh, Kishida said Japan will "cooperate closely" with Cambodia at international meetings. Cambodia holds the rotating presidency of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations this year.
