日米外相、対北朝鮮で連携確認　ウクライナ情勢「重大な懸念」

　林芳正外相は２日、ブリンケン米国務長官と電話会談し、弾道ミサイル発射を繰り返す北朝鮮の動きに、緊密に連携して対処することで一致した。ロシアが軍事圧力を強めるウクライナ情勢への重大な懸念も共有し、同国の主権と領土の一体性を支持する方針を確認した。
　電話会談は約３５分間で、日本側が要請。両氏は、北朝鮮の核・ミサイル技術向上に深刻な懸念を示した。その上で、北朝鮮の完全な非核化に向け、日米両国や日米韓３カ国による連携の重要性を確認。日米同盟の抑止力、対処力の強化が不可欠との認識で一致した。
　ウクライナ情勢をめぐり、日米両国は１月の首脳テレビ会談で「いかなる攻撃に対しても強い行動を取ることを調整する」と申し合わせている。林氏は電話会談後、この方針について「当然の前提だ」と記者団に強調。ただ、対ロシア経済制裁について議論したかは「外交上のやりとり」として明らかにしなかった。
　一方、米国務省の発表によると、両氏はロシアのさらなる軍事行動を抑止する必要性について協議した。（2022/02/02-12:49）

Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken agreed on Wednesday to work closely together in responding to North Korea's repeated ballistic missile launches.
   The two ministers, speaking over the phone, shared grave concerns over tensions in Ukraine and confirmed their countries' support to its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
   In their 35-minute conversation held at the request of the Japanese side, Hayashi and Blinken expressed serious concerns about advances in Pyongyang's nuclear and missile technologies.
   They confirmed the significance of cooperation among Japan, the United States and South Korea to achieve the full denuclearization of North Korea.
   Hayashi and Blinken also shared the view that Japan and the United States need to strengthen the alliance's deterrence and response capabilities.
