天皇陛下、山岳会夕食会に

　天皇陛下は７日夜、東京都内のホテルで開かれた日本山岳会の夕食会に出席された。登山が趣味の陛下は同会会員で、即位前もたびたび夕食会や講演会に参加している。
　陛下はこの日、各地の支部などが取り組んでいる自然保護活動の展示や、会員らによる山岳写真展を見た後で夕食会会場へ。集まった約５００人から拍手で迎えられる中、にこやかな表情で席に着いた。（2019/12/07-19:09）

Emperor Attends Japanese Alpine Club's Dinner Party

Emperor Naruhito attended a dinner party hosted by the Japanese Alpine Club at a Tokyo hotel Saturday.
   A mountain lover, the Emperor is a member of the club. He attended many dinner parties and lecture sessions held by the club before he ascended the throne in May.
   On Saturday, the Emperor entered the party venue after viewing displays on nature conservation activities involving club branches and an exhibition of photographs of mountains taken by club members and others.
   Smiling, he took a seat after being welcomed with a round of applause by some 500 participants.
