アマゾン、「置き配」全国で　２０年にも郵便局網活用

　ネット通販大手アマゾンジャパン（東京）と日本郵便が、希望者に対して玄関前や車庫など指定場所に商品を配達する「置き配」サービスの全国展開を検討していることが５日、分かった。２０２０年にも始める。国内の宅配便全体の再配達率は約２割に上っており、配達員の負担軽減や業務の効率化につなげる。
　日本郵便は「早期実施に向け前向きに検討している」とのコメントを発表した。
　アマゾンは今年２月から自社の配達網を使い、都市圏などで置き配を実施。留守でも商品が届くよう玄関前などの配達場所を注文時に指定できる。全国展開では日本郵便が持つ２万４０００局の郵便局網を活用する。（2019/12/05-20:37）

E-commerce giant Amazon Japan and Japan Post Co. are considering offering across the nation as early as from next year a joint service of dropping off parcels at locations designated by customers, such as the front door of the home and in the garage, it was learned Friday.
Japan Post's network of 24,000 post offices nationwide will be utilized for the service, which is aimed at reducing the burden on delivery staff and improving operational efficiency at a time when the parcel redelivery rate has reached about 20 pct in Japan, informed sources said.
